Personal Visit Visa…

Please help, I got a Visit Visa for my sister under my sponsorship. I already sent her the Visa copy but we don’t know what would be the next step. She’s in Jeddah, Saudi right now and already resigned from her company. Do we need to ask for passport stamp from Qatar Embassy in Jeddah or a copy of Visa and passport will be enough for her visit here? Shall I buy her a return ticket to Philippines because it’s only a visit visa? What are the documents Qatar Immigration will ask? Thank you very much! =)

I have the same experience with you last year; I sponsored my mother-in-law coming here to Doha back then. She came from Oman, and like Saudi, also a GCC country, does not require stamp from the qatar embassy there in Oman to authenticate the VISA. Therefore just verify from the embassy of qatar in Jeddah, KSA, if stamp is not required for the Visa. Another thing, about the return ticket; yes you need to secure it from the ticketing agency where you bought her arrival ticket, since she will be staying here, for one month, I presume, even if she extends or not her stay here.

While traveling to Qatar on a Visit Visa (Personal/Business), you don't need any documents to be carried. While applying for a visa for your sister you submitted all the necessary documents as the sponsor. The only thing required is the Original Passport of the visitor which would be screened and stamped with an immigration (arrival) stamp and that's it. I know this because I am on visit visa to Qatar and nobody ever asked me about any documents at airport/immigration.

request your sister to check the Qatar Embassy in jeddah bout the requirements in travelling here in doha. She might need or dont need a stamp from qatar embassy in her place right now.

Is she will staying here in doha or just a plain visit?

its better to acquire also her ticket back in phils.
