waiting for hamad exam result for nurse
By yasmeen522 •
i took a written exam for nurses at HMC yesterday. i asked the proctor when the result will come out, she told me that they'll just call me up. i am very anxious because she didnt mention for how long will i have to wait. does anyone who have taken the same exam knows how long do we have to wait for their (HMC) call? thanks!
thank you for you reply
geenalyn, i dont know much about NHA examination. but prospect employer told me that they (NHA) require 3yrs of experience. or its best if you visit their office its just near medical city. Goodluck!
hi yasmeen! im also looking for a job here in qatar. under business visa. im now completing my papers for nha. question is, do they allow applicants to take the exam even if they only have 1 year experience and no potential employer?
your response will be much appreciated!
Goodluck to everyone!
they do but takes a long time. i applied last july and only last september did they scheduled my exam. after that no updates yet. i do hope they'l hire me but won't expect :P
i applied as walk-in..went to their HR dept and passed my credentials, i also filled-up an application form. they only accept application on wednesdays and saturdays i think..just check it. i heard that they will be going soon to the phils to recruit. dont be alarmed but i read the backpage of the application form, it says that your application will be valid for a year..it also means that you have to be willing to wait within a year.. just maybe. anyways, good luck to us! God bless you too :)
Hello Yasmeen522..
Thank you for the info. Is Hamad hiring here in Qatar? How long have you waited before they schedule your exam. Do they contacted you now? I'm started to feel bad that I convince my sister to come and find work here, kinda difficult but we're not losing hope. I hope you get the work in Hamad. Can you kindly tell me how to apply in Hamad? Or can I contact you to ask some details, I'm just worried. Sorry for the inconvenience.. God bless Yasmeen..
based on my experience, when i tried to apply (hospital/clinic) they usually asked me if I am NHA certified, means you have took the exam.. but for hamad, you apply first then they'l schedule you for an exam. Good luck to your sister!
by the way, just for your information, its a bit hard if not impossible to look for a job here if under personal visit visa. that was my problem. they prefer under husband or father-sponsored visa. just pray~

my sister just arrive here in Qatar to find work, she's currently under personal visit visa. Registered nurse from Phils. i just want to ask if exam here is required even before she find/look for an employer or exam will only be needed once hired by private hospital/clinic?
