Is it illegal to take a friend back seat in a car? I have a fine for QR 3000 and the reason tells that I took someone in my car. How the heck they know it is a stranger or a relative.

See the Police Captain and try to explain to him that he is not your pessenger but a friend. In this I think you can explain your point of view.

Has Police asked your's and passenger's ID at location?

ID has type of visa you are holding and passenger holding. Which vehicle you were driving? Personal or company? If it is company vehicle, you and passenger should have same type of visa.

I think, police might have considered you carrying passenger and taking money for the trip.

One more thing which you mentioned that your friend was sitting in the back seat of the car alone. So it is very clear to the police that he is not your friend, otherwise he will not sit in the rear seat. I myself will never allow my friend to sit at the back, as I am not his personal driver.

Yes I understand very well... What your problem is...

Maybe the police saw you, you are picking passengers in the road... and you know Private Taxi is Illegal That's why you have fined....

It doesn't make sense. I always carry friends with me even most of the time female also. I never met with such an incident. This seems the case of private taxi which is illegal.
