What is this snake I caught in the garden here in Doha?

It's a small one, about 20 inches long. I've seen few of them before. My first catch died after a few hours, probably from stress but today I caight a seemingly healthy one, it's curently wandering around it's aquarium.

It is grey colored with black spots that gets bigger around the neck. A black band above it's head that ends down the bottom of the eyes and another elongated patch just behind the eyes and another elongated patch at the back of its head.

Is this snake venomous or not?
