A young Lebanese guy moved to Montreal, he went to a big department store looking for a job.

The manager asked him: 'Do you have any sales experience?' The young man said: 'Yeah, I was a salesman back home.'

The manager liked him and gave him the job.
'You start tomorrow'': said the manager and I'll come down after the store's closure to see how was your first day… But let me give you some tips; If a customer comes looking, say, for toothpaste, you can suggest him a toothbrush, or a shaving cream and so on.

''you get the idea?' asked the manager

'Of course!' said the young man.

His first day on the job was rough but he got through it.
After the store was locked up, the manager came down and asked: 'How many sales have you done today?'

The young man answered: 'One.'

The manager groans: 'Just one?'' Our sale's average is 25 sales a day! ''How much was the sale for?'

The young man said: '$101,237.64'

The manager exclaims, 'What? $ 101,237.64? What did you sell?

The young man explained: 'A customer came and I First sold him a small fish hook, Then I sold him a medium fish hook, Then a larger fish hook, Then a new fishing rod, Then I asked him where was he going to fish, and he said down the coast, so I told him that he was going to need a boat and I sold him that twin engine Chris Craft.

Then he realized that his Honda Civic wouldn't be able to pull it, so I took him down to the car department and sold him that 4X4 Pajero''

The manager said: 'You mean a guy came in here to buy a fish hook and you sold him a boat and a truck?!'

The young man said: 'No No , he came in here to buy a box of Kotex (sanitary napkins) for his wife and I told him: 'Well, since your weekend is already fucked up why don't you go fishing?''
