Open ended contract

Hi everybody,

I got my job offer in qatar and it says the contract is an open-ended one (after a 6 month probation period).

My question is what if I decide to quit the company, does the 2 year ban apply.

...but what if I quit let's say after 8 months...how can I make sure the company gives the NOC letter...can I ask for it before I sign the contract...

If you can get Non Objection Certificate so called NOC to your company you are probably free of any worries.

Your ban does not apply to any work contract rather its on the work VISA. sO no matter what your contract says unless you come to Qatar on your husband's visa the 2 year ban will be applicable to you if you resign. Since you will be here on the company's sponsorship. However if your company agrees to give you a NOC letter, you are able to change jobs without the 2 year ban. Comprende?
