Cars prices in Qatar

Who said that cars are cheap in Qatar? I was suspecting it’s false, but now I am convinced, that cars in Qatar, like anything else (except of petrol and cheap but useless services) are quite expensive.
Here is a sample. I was going to buy a BMW 125i, 2010, convertible, used for 9 months, with 10,000 km of mileage, for 135,000 (which is US$37,000). This is a basic model, nothing special without any fancy features.
I made a little research and figured out that for the same price of US$37,000, in USA you can buy brand new car, 2011, BMW 128i (equivalent of 125i with slightly stronger engine), which has even more features for the price, such as Bi-xenon Headlights, powered seats, etc.
So again, who said cars are cheap here?

it depends on which country you were comparing the prices with. you're comparing the prices with those in US, perhaps you dont see it cheaper. have you compared the prices with those in Japan/HongKong/China/Singapore?

we must think before we write something on a forum. if Qatar is not the place for you to live in, who's stopping you from leaving?
