thank u very much for all the response.yes it did help a lot.in this company, they really let their employee to start working even b4 medical exam.the company is already asking me to give them my passport so they could affix my visa already and then start working with them.i really have a hint they will cancel my working visa once they found out in my medical that i am pregnant which makes me sad.i told my husband already but he does not want to come back here in Qatar anymore.i dont know how to iron it out :(

i just want to clarify your case KABAYAN, youve mentioned that your visa was already transferred to the company, but you also mentioned that you did not undergo your medical yet, as far as i know, medical processing is part of the RP visa / nor working visa...den you should say that you already had your medical before.

In your case, you need to be sure first if you really pregnant, if so, then you need to talk to your company if its okie with them, bec. if not, den they can cancel your visa or employment with them.

my experience when i got the offer from the company im working with at the moment is that i have atleast a year working before getting pregnant. the policy was clear, that expats will be given the benefits of having paid 60 days maternity leave, 1 hour breastfeeding, only after 2 years.

otherwise if i will get pregnant earlier, i cannot avail all the mentioned.

in your case u havent started yet, they have all right to cancel/ terminate your contract.

or even during your probation period cancelation or termination of work depends to your company if your are really in need of that position. i hope this will help you.

I can suggest... the best is to tell your husband to try one more time. May be if he got this time you both can stay here.

Hope this will help you

Why don't you try to check it at home first whether you are pregnant or not??

I hope you must be aware of PREGNANCY kits that helps to check the pregnancy at home itself..Get it from the pharmacy ASAP if you have any doubts regarding this..
