Jail them for life

I remember some months ago that there was uproar regarding some stupid pastor who was going to burn the Koran, now tell me where this

How are they inciting treason? What bulls***t. They're expressing their views and they have every right to do so. If you arrest them, what next? The guy who complains about his taxes? Freedom of speech means freedom for everyone, whether you agree with their stance or not.

If I was in charge they would have been rounded up and sent somewhere really nasty.

I am for freedom of speech but this lot of racist thugs where taking the *iss and should have been dealt with.

I can say though; if this were members of the BNP and they were being racist (as they are) I would ask they were sent off somewhere nasty too.

What I object to is that they (THIS group) are not dealt with properly.

There were 50 Muslims burning Poppies...a nothing...most Muslims would agree they were stupid racists and not indicative of how most Muslims feel. They reside in the UK so really they can and did take advantage of our freedom of speech laws.

I do think though like any racist from wherever; they should have been rounded up and taken away and if they were found to be illegal immigrants should be sent back from where they came. If they were 'UK Citizens' as in second generation; then they should have their passports revoked.

Anybody who incites anything seen as racist even under the dubious umbrella of freedom of speech should be sent to prison.

Islam/Muslims are having bad press at the moment and to be honest I don't think it is fair. Most of the Muslims I have met are well mannered nice people who I hope will be horrified; as we are, by a small number of idiots.

All countries have racists and idiots who will do/act in anyway for 5 minutes of fame.

Was there not a young innocent lad from Qatar murdered by a group of racist lads not a long time ago in the UK?

Racism exists and it is an ugly thing but let's not give them what they want..and that is attention.

Agreed ex.ex.expat. Perhaps he can get his maid to protest for him.

Free speech has limits in every country, and burning poppies in Britain violates it. Alternatively, let the Sun exercise its freedom of the press to print the names and addresses of everyone who participated.

And yet you sit on your pampered arse here in Qatar for HOW MANY YEARS??? DOING NOTHING EXCEPT PISS AND MOAN ABOUT "INVADERS"???

just saw a pic of harry potter casts including jk rowling at the red carpet with red poppies pinned on their chests. after learning what it was all about, i deeply appreciated the fact that they still choose to commemorate Remembrance Day even during film openings.

Their aim is Cheap publicity and they got it. The same was that Pop. This type of people always succeeds in their aim (Publicity) but should be punished severely, to be a lesson to others, not to dare cheap acts.

aah.....The benefits of a welfare state. Let the country do everything for you, and then spit in the face on that very nation.

Jail them, so they can live on tax payer money.Duh. If they can't assimilate, I'd say revoke their passports, send them back to where they originated from. To hell with PC. Time for the the people to their foot their foot down and say Enough, otherwise there will be no turning back and the country will be overrun.

This is inciting treason and should not be tolerated.. freedom of speech be damned. I don't understand why any government is tolerating this crap. These extremists can get away with stuff like this only in countries like UK and that's a fact. Which is why they won't dare come to "reform" countries like Saudi and Qatar. Oh but if you ask them they'd say its cos the rulers of Muslim countries are also "Disbelievers committing Kufur" Yeah right, cowards!

LIS - I can't agree more.

"Ullah said his parents were from a “colonised Islamic state”."

Then why doesn't he fcuk off back there.

I hope some British troops see his sign, find out where he lives and go and kick the cr^p out of him. W^nker!

makes you wonder why he doesnt just f**k off and live in a country where his outlook is agreed with, oh no sorry that would mean that he would not get government handouts and live a life luxury where he can basically say and do as he pleases! thats the beauty of the UK! F**cking idiot should be jailed!

What are the limits to free speech? I am also a big supporter of free speech but inciting treason surely isn't within the limits.

We have the right to protest in the UK....and very thankful I am to....I subscribe to Voltaire's famous comment.

However.....the law should be equal for all - a group of men were arrested in the NE of England recently for burning a Koran and uploading it on Youtube; so using that case as a precedent then the MAC demonstrators should be arrested.

Scrap the passport of anyone condemning his/her own country and own people. Why would anyone hold the passport of the country and then shout against fellow countrymen.
