Hello All,‎

‎ ‎

I believe that there is some misunderstanding regarding what I’ve commented.‎

So please let me extend my apologies and say that what I’ve mentioned was because of ‎one time, since I checked deferent houses in Doha and most of the houses that I checked ‎were nice and good but when the agreement is done and want to go to the office for ‎signing the contract (the man who is in charge) will say “sorry my friend, it’s for Indian, ‎Filipino or any Asian only” and the issue is: why he didn’t inform me before checking the ‎house, that was the first one.‎

Then the second time was really funny as the guy who answered my call makes the flat ‎looks like a palace and said: “Yes Sir, it’s very big one bedroom flat with AC and very ‎nice kitchen for luxury occupancy, quite and nice area located closed to Mall around ‎about” and when I checked, I found out that the house is consisting one bedroom could ‎be enough for single bed (maybe) in a very old villa (I think it was used as a store) and ‎the kitchen is only 2 cabinets near to the door of the room (beside the stairs of the room ‎door) and when he showed me the bathroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really got shocked as it is ‎totally out the room area (at the back of the room) and when I told him about the ‎bathroom (I don’t want to say anything about it because >>>>!!!!) he answered me that I ‎can buy a bathroom by around 2000 QR and keep it closed to the room (Actually, first I ‎thought that the man is joking and I started laughing but when I came to know that he is ‎really serious, I just kept quite and left the place) and please let tell how much was the ‎rental rate per month (2700QR / Month), do you believe?‎

Any whys guys, that was the reasons of my comment, so please ignore the comment if ‎you feel that it was against anybody. No it is just an expression for what happened with ‎me.‎

I hope everyone will understand the situation and lets be friends all. ‎

what is the problem to you all people.we all expats came here to make a better living not to fight each other on silly basis. if more keralites are here then what will be the problem to you. govt of Qatar dont have problem. Please make an enquiry to the police dept, then you people can understand who are creating more trouble. Qatari land lords are very happy to deal with indians bcos they will not make any trouble to them.

are Arab and you can find a furnished flat for your budget. I think QR3500 is enough for you to find a good one. Stick to Subrahmanya's suggestions that you check for QL or Gulf Times' classifieds there you can find helpful information on furnished flats. Remember, we are all human here.

dear Fadi,

let me explain to first of all it is not that only philipinos or indians get houses even my friends who are arabs stay in decent flats with 4000 and 3500 as rents.

People are giving wrong impression to you this my personal view first of Kerala is in India and one of the states and most keralites here again not all are ok with sharing accomdations, but again i have many keralite friends who dont share but stay on their own.

It is that basically depends on individuals conveience.

Now a days the flats availlibility is more than demand and rents are coming down and for this you need not go tosome malabri for help, you can easily get through QL ot in classifieds in Gulf Times, and also see the to let advrt in Al Meera super market.

This i am telling out of experience as even though i am lso an Indian and will never share flats with another family, i went through paper advrt and notice board and got beautiful flat and that to directly from my Qatari land Lord.

I sincerely wish you all the best.

Once a Malayalee landed in Delhi and he did not know hindi well. He had an urge to pee and was looking for a place and found a bush near a Sardarji's House and started relieving himself. Sardarji happened to see him and asked.

These people rent a villa or flat consisting of 4-5 rooms and then share it with the others to live in. In this situation, sure they will look for the people who are the same culture and speak the same language.

For example if they will bring me, I will be in trouble and also them. so better to have the same nationalities.

Explanation for why only Indian or Filipino....We know here the majority of expatriate is Indian (Mostly Keralite) or Filipino. It is obvious you will see much more ads from them.

Most of ads you see will be for a sharing kind of an accomodation. either share a room with some people or share a part of a villa. Most Arabs (and im not being racist here) do not like these kind of accomodation and only either Indians or Filipinos can adjust to such kind of accomodation.

Mostly Filipinos like to live among their own people, many lives in sharing. Same are Karlite people. Maybe because of Culture, language etc. they never said others are not human, but one have choice to live as he likes. Post in classified and hope you will get apartment, wish you good luck
