LEED stands for: "Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design", while QSAS stands for: "Qatar Sustainability Assessment System" and both are "Green Building Rating Systems". Since the launch of QSAS late in 2009, most of building professionals in Qatar became confused, as they couldn't decide whether to become LEED AP or QSAS AP... The question gained a huge momentum and it seemed that there was a "Race" between both of the rating systems to dominate the local market. However, this is not the whole story...
