Non english speaking Kid's
By STEVEDRIFT •
We are planning to move to Dοha from Greece with our family next month accepting a job opportunity.
Having two children’s age 3 & 5 years old both speaking only Greek language and knowing that in Doha there is no Greek school our main consideration is their Education. Since there is no Greek school in Doha the only choice is english speaking private school.
So here comes the question.
What is the best and faster way to adapt our childrens in English language ?
I read somewhere else in here about private nursery schools that accept Multilanguage children’s and provide them the basic english language elements.
Any help would be higly appreciated.

Hi and tikanis,
I wouldn't worry about the kids going to school here with no English. They are at the age that they will pick it up very fast. Most schools/nurseries are used to this situation and will adjust to the kids' needs.
Of course, I would research the school/nursery before enrolling your children as many are better than others. Usually the more renowned (and more expensive) schools hire qualified teachers while others hire anyone they can to fill a position so ask around. I know there are schools that also will not accept non-English speaking students so don't waste your time with those.
One school that accepts everyone is Compass International and I have friends whose children learned English there very quickly. This school is very expensive though, so if price matters ask around. Good luck!
from now buy them English books, DVDs and speak to them in English - then it won't be such an alien concept for them.
The vocab range of a 3 and 5 year old is limited so they could know quite a lot before they come.
I think at such a young age the main issue is going to be them losing their Greek language skills.
