Can I go directly to Qatar from Dubai?
I'm Filipino. I'm working here in Dubai as Large Format Operator in Advertising company.then I got an offer in Qatar as a Graphic Designer cum Printing Operator. So I grab the opportunity, I resign to my previous company and now the processing my cancellation. So planning to go directly to Qatar because it more cheaper for my future employer and it all not hassle because in Manila it will take me 1 month to process it and depart from there and also i paying for my ticket if I go back to my country that's what my previous employer tells me. So can I go directly from Dubai to Qatar even I have cancelled visa in Dubai?and How many days will be processing of my visa? And also more easier for my future employer to process my Working visa starting now or make me a visit visa?can you give the duration of time of processing of both visa.Hope to here from your suggestions. Tnx.

SURELY YOU CAN... THAT IS OUR SUGGESTION. AFTER CANCELLATION, FIND YOUR VISA COPY AND TRAVEL WITH IT TO QATAR DIRECTLY... WITHOUT CANCELLATION YOU CANT...
Get your visa in Qatar either visit or working Otherwise, you will no ba bale to enter Qatar

I suggest that you fly directly to Qatar when your visa is released. Thats what I did and its hassle free.
Dont make a mistake of processing your papers in Manila if you know what I mean.
No problem at all. Half my staff were poached from Dubai :o)
Possible only if the company who hired you from Qatar gives you visa (WORKING OR VISIT),in this way just get the copy from http://www.moi.gov.qa/site/english/ and everything will be fine just like we did.
The visa processing will take only 1-3 days. goodluck!
I have my own experience 3 years back in the same situation. I got offer letter from my present company in Qatar and resigned from the company in Dubai. In the meanwhile I got my work visa from Qatar (approx 10-12 days). I completed one month notice in Dubai and straight away flown to Qatar.
There is no problem at all. Go ahead with follow up of your visa from Qatar. It will not take much time, as far as your new employer in Qatar is serious to apply your visa.
The other way as you said, if you will go back to your home country, there will be a lot of other formalities to complete and will delay your process. Better go ahead with the direct flight to Qatar.
