whats wrong with the hospital in old airport, yesternight i took my nephew whose index fingure got injured, to the old airport emergency unit.
They didn't have arrangement for bandage, and doctor referred me to the main Hamad Hospital Emergency.
Moreover the staff's behaviour is rude towards others especially asians, these palestinians and egyptians think they are a big thing...!

aasghar said i have experienced similar ...

So my point is that you can't declare any community good or bad only because you have come across a few bad people.

Palestinians and Egyptians are not all bad. good and bad are everywhere. You are hat promoter, how this post is helping someone? Your attitude is racialist, if you have shown same attitude there they have kicked you out and you are involving all Asian here.

i have experienced similar rude attitude from Apolo clinic from a kerala staff who tried to tell me some thing in Malyalam and when i told her i do not speak malyalam her attitude changed immediately to a very non responsive pose to my daughter and she did not even listened to what we were saying and just completed the procedure like a machince and shoved us out of the room in 2 minutes in which she completed checkup of my daughter and also wrote medicine. When i re-visited askign her to write some other medicine as my 2 year old daughter does nto take it due to bitter taste, she simply refused and told me it is my duty to give her medicine and no alternative is available.

Next day i visited Al Ahli and got my daughter checked from a Arab doctor who not only listened very politely but also gave us alternative medicine and also treated us well but who explained us what we can expect and what should be the alraming stage to return for the re-visit and sent us home feeling very satisfied.

So my point is that you can't declare any community good or bad only because you have come across a few bad people.

The PHCs do not take up any kind of cases after 9pm!

So if you have visited the Health Centre after 9pm, then this is what they ask you to do!

Moreover, they being rude to the asians is not a new thing to hear in Qatar!

Almost all the Arabs (be it an egyptian or sudani or wherever) think they are a qatari!

And all the arabic speaking crown looks down on the brown and yellow skins.

They think except them and the westerners all others are barbarians!

God Save them!!

I must agree that I have seen a few arabs (qataris and egyptians) who are damn polite which I never expected after previous bad experiences.

Hence my comment doesnt mean all the arabs are bad!

If it is then the PHC (or Health Centers) really do not take emergency cases. They will refer you to either the Children' Emergency Hospital (in Al Sadd) or the Hamad Main.

It happened to me before. Yes I did find it rude but when I asked from a Nurse at the Emergency hospital I got that explanation.

The PHCs are only for check-ups and wound dressing (wounds or fractures already treated at the Main or Children's hospital). They are not equipped to handle Emergency cases.

But I have to agree that the way they communicate is very rude and disrespectful. Just because I did not know that they do not handle emergency cases does not give them the right to shout at me. It was a very unpleasant experience.

their behaviour should be polite & they didn't notice the bleeding finger, i requested them to put some sort of medicine to stop it, but they refused and kept saying me to go Main Emergency!

As for the hospitals; the medical services here in general is a disaster.

As for the Palastenians; I cannot talk on behalf of them.

As for the Egyptians; they have always been "big thing" by respecting everybody. You can see that in the variant look of Egyptians. We're never racists

Take care brothers we are all being dragged to fight others battles; don't be that easily deceived.

They are rude to you because you interrupted their chitchat, and prevented them using their mobiles to make a call minimum of 2 hours per call.
