how many of your companies win contracts solely based on merit?

Bribery or "assistance" and under the table deals are par for the course in world politics. They may not run it, but these are at least part of the system. The USA calls it "foreign aid". Qatar and Russia played the game and won; the others played the game and lost. If they want to win, they need to stop whining and change their game plan for next time.

yea tell that to the Brits. They tried to bribe the members of the ExCOm by giving expensive gifts to their wives.

Bribery will not help you get votes :)

vcarringtonsmiddy - Absolutely.... Money talks... to be precise - it talks louder!!!

Well, the other countries are pointing finger on Qatar saying it bribed FIFA.....

the actual reason could be that those countries dint have as much money as Qatar had to impresses the Board!!! ;)

And they are disappointed cos their dream to take this as an opportunity to make business boom intheir country!!!!

We all know and have to accept the fact that bribing is everywhere in anything!!!!
