I am working in a UAE based multinational construction company as an Engineer. I was transferred out from UAE and now working here since 2006. By mistake my visa issued here is as labour instead of engineer. How could I change my profession in my visa?
Please advice me.

My husband suffered the same problem like you and thus got difficulty for getting FAMILY VISA..
Better talk to your HR DEPRATMENT ASAP or else it will create problem at later stage ifever you will decide to make FAMILY VISA for your wife/kid...
As well explained above by Sumiya, it depends on your sponsor's visa slot, if they don't have visa slot for Engineer, then it is not possible. If they have vacancy, then only your PRO has to produce your education degrees and process the case

Employers generally buy visas prior to hiring new employees. It is very common for companies to have such visas being issued to employees who are actually more educated or qualified.
In order to change the profession on your visa, you will have to ask your sponsor(which will be your company) to change it for you. Contact the HR department of your company to find out the details.
