Canadian Passport renewal- Guarantor for Two years

Hi,
We are trying to renew Canadian passport for our child which is due in Feb-2011. We have been living in Qatar for the past two years. However we are unsuccessful in finding a Guarantor who can certify for two years. We know a Doctor who is willing to certify that he knows our child for one year (and not for two years).

We have sent a mail to Canadian Embassy in Kuwait and waiting for their reply..

Appreciate if anybody had experienced this problem recently and can share with us. I searched in Qatar living but those are old discussions.

I am not able locate in form online. Do you have a copy of it? Anything else is required apart from filling the form and paying $50 fee..

I just renewd my passport ,,if u dont have any gauranter than u have to pay 50 dollar to the embassy.first u have to fill up the form called in leiu of gauranter ,u can download the form from the website.
