Fashion basics for plus(XXL) size women...

I was at a loss about where to go for XXL size clothes which will fit my body and budget..

Months back, I posted a query and many were sympathetic and helpful.Went to Lulu, Ulla Popkins in Royal Plaza, Jamil Fashions,Splash,etc. Most of their collections were either XL, the necks too low, too expensive for what they offered, etc..

I started watching "What not to wear" in BBC Entertainment and the fashion tips they offer in Google and youtube..I found out what suits my body shape. Then went around once again.

Atlast found some size 18 and 20, Slim leg, Long kind of stretching pants which made me breathe again after years, you can say..And I bought a thin woollen Black Jacket, which covers the butt and the tummy, which cost around 250 Riyals. But it is the best trick to start wearing all those gorgeous tops I have, without worrying about my protrusions..Mark and Spencer Pants cost a bit. But I guess it will last me for years.

And the tops I got from BhS were simply amazing...They have a brand called "Love Cotton" which feels so soft, are comfortable,and with a clever style. And because they belong to the "basic" section they cost quite less than those flimsy, expensive tops.

I feel like going out again without worrying about whether I have anything that fits.

Hope this helps anyone who is confused as I was, now or later on when they search the site for tips.

And please avoid unnecessary comments, as no one wishes to be fat and become fat. In my case, it was hypothyroid, three miscarriages, stress and a special needs child to handle..
