Does anyone know the procedure of transferring the family RP from an indian passport to australian passport. My RP is currently on indian passport (will be cancelled soon). Will my ID number change as well due to this?

Unless it is really necessary, I advise you not to change RPs from one nationality to other. Your Qatar ID include a code for your nationality, so you will get a new Qatar ID, which means cancelling the old one and all your bank accounts and car ownership and driver license and and ...
