Thank you very much for all your advices. I spoke already with my husband and were weighing the advantages and disadvantages of the decision we have to make.
coelacanth, yes your really right about that...i'm 100% agree with you...but what i'm trying to say is, set aside all the expenses, such as billings, payments, about low salary...just think of seeing your kids grow being there for there when they have problem seeing your wife in the morning beside you when you open your eyes...making you a cup of coffee...something like that. and yet were making sacrifices and being alone for them to have a good life. but life is short and for everybody, we all deserve to be happy...
Oneen...i couldn't agree more...but i don't think it would make you happy seeing your family suffering with you coz of lack of finances. I would rather bear the pain of separation and let them live a comfortable life back home, than be here and stay all day inside the four corners of the room, and watch TV which is being repeated every 8 hours. QR2500 for a 5X5 room in a sharing villa, QR500 per month per child for schooling, QR600 for child transportation to school and back (cheaper if you prefer the school bus where your child had to be picked up at 5AM for the 7AM class), QR1800 for food, electricity, water, internet for QR500...if you're earning QR7000, you only have QR1000+ left in your savings...and if you'll get a car, you don't even have enough money to pay for petrol. That is one reason why they put a cap salary for family sponsorship, so that the family will not suffer...and if you plan on leaving them with a nanny so that your wife can work, that's another 800-1000 per child plus transportation to the nanny's house. Check if you are willing to take this chances.
Sir, for me kabayan...if thats make you happy. Salary or what kind of job you have here in Qatar, it doesn't matter...For me kasi nothing makes me more happy to be with my family.
It depends on how big is your family, and how much are you earning in average. If you are earning around QR10,000 monthly, you MAY live comfortably on a sharing accommodation with other families.
