what are driving schools for ???
I am an 18 year old who just passed my driving test on the 18 th day of my course, even though i am happy that i could get my licence in the first attempt, but i am also really worried about the same as i had enrolled myself for the driving class in a 40 days full course.after reconfirming with the officer that i would be allowed to complete my full course even if i got my liecence any where in between my training period.they ensured me and promised me the same and forced me to give the test on the 18th day covincing me that it would be only to pass the L and P.But i passed the road also and was given my licence the same day.
Now that i am not actually properly trained to either drive in the high ways or even in any fast track roads.i was only trained in the interior roads with speed limits of 50-80.now when i asked them to please resume my training classes as they had promised they laughed at me and told me on the face that "ITS IMPOSSIBLE AND WE ARE NOT HERE TO TRAIN YOU TO DRIVE ,WE ONLY TRAIN YOU TO GET THE LICENCE." Now my questions...
1) why do they give false promises when they can not fulfill it?
2) why do they take the full amount of QR 2300 when they are not ready to complete the course? ( why do they force us to give the test even before completing half the course??)
3)how can they expect me to drive in 100-120 speed without even training me once on those roads.(when i asked them about this they told me " NONE OF THE DRIVING SCHOOLS IN DOHA TRAIN YOU ON THOSE ROADS.YOU HAVE LICENCE IN HAND AND CAR AT HOME...GO DRIVE YOURSELF.!!!"
PLS NOTE THE FUNNIEST PART ,THE TRAINER TOLD ME HE WOULD TRAIN ME FROM HIS SIDE IF I GAVE HIM EXTRA MONEY !!!
DEAR QL USERS...AND I THOUGHT ALL THESE YEARS THAT DRIVING SCHOOLS IN QATAR PREPARES PERFECT DRIVERS .I DIDNT KNOW THEY ONLY PREPARE LICENCE HOLDERS.ANY SUGGESTIONS...PLS
first off....they cant force u to take a test...u can take a test when ever u can and wheneever ur ready....and then its true abt wht u said.... u see they just train u for getting the L and S and parking right....on the outside world ur on ur own....there are people here who really havent even gone thru school..... basically its a jungle in the streets, a lil book wit 60 pages doesnt do it right.....besides u dont have to be surprised like someone earlier commented with a lotta silly accidents happening its a no brainer tht the classes are not as effective.....
Its not the mistake of Driving school, the mistake of the officer who approved the Driving License for you. if you dont have confidence that you can do anything with the Steering wheel, then I dont understant how the police officer trusted you and approved the license for you.
So now you want to learn to drive on fast tracks then what about learning to avoid the accidents? later you will tell driving school did not teach you these????
Teacher is giving the lessons only.
Another option keep your DL in your pocketand don't show it and go to other school and take admission to learn how to drive and don't attempt test until the last day comes...
Hope it may helps you..
Pretty lame really isn't it. Is it any wonder there are so many 'stupid' accidents here that could be avoided with proper driving instruction.
What they need here are GOOD, Qualified driving instructors, not just license facilitators, for that's all they are. What hope when I've seen these 'instructors' out of hours driving with kids on their knees!
on the first instance,
You would have not taken the test, now driving school is right saying they are train u upto obtaining the driving license, now no option, with your own vehicle u need to take risk of driving at lower speed and gaining the confidence subsequently.
