Dear QL Memebers, I wanna bring my wife here to Doha on visit visa. I am working in a good profession with QR.8000. But the thing is My ID is Showing LABOR infront of my profession. Is is possible to bring her under my sponsorship?
the steps if as follows:
First get the Application Form for Profession Change from labor department.
get your sponsor sign & company seal on that paper then go to Labor Dept(near to American Hosp) along with,
1) Sponsor ID copy
2) Municipality Bill
3) Education . Qualification Copy (should be Translated)
4) Bank Stmt(6 months)
5) Agreement Contract (3 New) (new profession printed)
6) Agreement Contract (3 Old - Already signed)
7) Your PP , Visa and ID copy.
Submit this and get sign from officer he is sitting in 3rd Floor.
Once you got the sign go to the nearest office for attestation of your contracts.( new 3). while attestation you have to pay 50 QR.
wait for another 10 days and go to Immigration office(garaffa) and show your receipt from Labor by showing them the New Application for ID change with your photo.
Then go Building no: 1 and submit your application there, you have to pay 300 QR.
On the spot you will get your new ID and Visa sticker on your PP.
you are going to need a new contract with your company and also you are going to need a collage degree to change your position and fill down the form from the labour dep. and since the cost of living is going up you need to hurry up casue they are thinking about rising up the salary again to brring your family. thanks

Thanx Mr. Riyaz, What is procedure to change the status, i heard it is very difficult to change the position.
no problem, you can bring your wife on visiting, my family also here since 7 yrs. my visa status also labour but I am working as a nurse in a company. if possible tell your company to change visa status as I am also under process.
