NOC for 2 years finished contract
By motorgates •
Hello,
I already finished my two years contract with my present company and until now they are not giving me NOC. I tried my best to persuade them to give me so that I can transfer to another company whose line is completely different and have given me a job offer twice my salary (my company doesn't know about it). They want me to sign for another year contract since they want me to stay. My contract end last Nov 2010 and until now they don't give me exit permit because I still have no replacement as one of their reasons. Please help what I need to do? I already accept the job offer believing that they will give me NOC and they are waiting for me.
Kabayan, you have to go to Philippine Embassy ask for their assistance.
@ qatarisun..My ID / RP was already expired since Nov 7 that's why I think I'm illegal but keep on working and they are not renewing because I'm not signing for a new contract. Is it still safe to stay beyond Feb 7 ..how about if I make accident during driving or else police catch me with expired RP? sorry for additional questions because I'm really bothered coz I'm the only one Fil. in my company.
Well thats one reason that everybody is screaming to do away with the sponsorship system.
You may be a very good worker but to them it does not mean a thing. They know they can play around with you and that is exactly what they are doing
Lyrics from the song Hotel california may seem familiar when you reach this stage of your relationship with yr company.... U can check in anytime U want but u can never leave... (unless they agree to let you leave....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
what do you mean, you stay illegal? did they cancel your RP and make you working for them???
I am now illegal worker here as far as I know. They told me I can stay until Feb 7 and they really dont want to give NOC and also my exit permit together with my gratuity. I am a good worker and don't want to fight with them. Any more suggestions please.
NOC is not a right, if your employer does not want to they don't have to
You don't have any options other than getting the NOC from the present employer.
