Flip Knives

Okay, i'm heading out to the Himalayas for this school trip. It's called International Award. I need a new knife the is strong. Doesn't necessarily need to be a flip knife, one of those big knives that can be sheathed would be fine. My old knife broke and doesn't work anymore. So would anyone know where i could find a shop that sells them or something?

Thanks
Cam

Isn't there a hunting shop in Villaggio? Thing is, I don't know if weapons of any form are sold to expats...I actually think not. Btw...which school do you go to?

Find it a bit odd that they would allow students to carry weapons...

I won't have time to buy anything. We don't go into town to buy stuff until after the expedition...

Why not wait and buy it in India. it will be cheaper. Also, you won't have issues with customs..

International Award. It's basically surviving in a group of friends, navigating around the wilderness, camping, hiking. everything. I'm on my Silver Award. Bronze took place in the middle of Bir Zakreet and we had to hike 40km carrying our own tents, equipment, food, clothing, taking rest stops at checkpoints to refill water. Had to find our way to the camping sites and then find our way back to the bus to be picked back up. This time, we're going to India, into the mountains and hiking uphill. FuN =D

Opposite the Royal Plaza Mall across Al Sadd street, you'll find Mostafawi in one of those shops.

There's a shop called 'Mostafawi' in City Center and Al Sadd that sells different kinds of knives. Good luck!
