Can i travel to my home country(India) 2 weeks before my passport expires?

Thanks for all the answers. I don't intend to return to Qatar once I leave in March. It should be simpler then, shouldn't it?

It's better to get it renewed in Doha and then travel, instead of inviting troubles for yourself. It takes only a week's time to get your new passport.

But what's the problem in renewing the PASSPORT before you leave DOHA???

Why do you want to call unnecessary troubles??

just to be sure, get your passport's validity extended at the indian embassy or your foreign affairs ministry before you leave qatar or the moment you get home if you don't have time to have your passport renewed. i've seen a lot of indian passports with validity extensions at work. most countries' embassies provide this service as well.

you can travel to your home country but will not be able to return back to qatar untill you have passport validity for atleast 6 months and valid visa stamped on your passport.

yes you can but the problem is if you can come back to doha with an expired passport.
