The claim that a massive man-made island chain is "falling back into the sea" sparks a furious war of words.

Ironic isn't it? The World project is the crowning glory of Dubai but like its economy it is slowly sinking.

Maybe that's what happens if you mess with the environment. It comes back with a vengeance.
