Future Career

What is your future career? Did you accomplish it? Did you start with it?
Recently I went for job interview and the HR asked me this question.
In fact, when I was young I did not set a future career for myself, and till now I don’t have a specific idea, but I am going with the flow of what future is hiding for me.
I started my career as database operator then upgraded to Asst. Accountant then to an accountant finally last year I was upgraded to an internal auditor and I don’t know what I will be in the future.
So when I replied as above I felt that they did not like it.
What is your opinion? Is this answer a negative or positive answer?
in fact the first interview i attended was with the finance manager and he asked me all technical matters, after 1 week later i was called for HR interview and he said that this is for asking me about personal and administrative.
the last was before 2 weeks and since he told me we will call you after 2 weeks and he did not call till now i started to worry.
any way, i am happy with what my destiny is hiding for me.
Thanx
HR staff normally make the shortlisting of the applicants. If you have high calibre professional qualifications, you might be called for final interview by a panel, consisting of top corporate executive/s and consultants.
Just a piece of advise, never answer with uncertainty again.
Maybe they will ask you this question.
What should be the strongest value of an Internal Auditor?
What will be your answer?
I hope so!
I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
HR rarely make hiring decisions, they are generally based on the recommendation of the main interviewer, i.e., the boss you will be working for. So long as you are knowledgeable in the work they are offering, that should be sufficient to secure the position.
wait for 2 weeks :)
I will certainly do, but he told me that they will call me after 2 weeks
interview result ask the same q/s to the HR guy
