Loan Repayment
My friend who has gone on vacation but had pressing family issues back home has not returned.
he is having a Personal Loan of nearly 450K from bank.
which he had only paid back few months.
My friend has invested the money in some project and tells me he is willing to repay what ever amounts he can afford every month of the capital of the loan.
The question is with the Strick exchange control regulations in SRI LAnka he is unable to remit through bank transfer . He is contemplating if he can get the bank to charge his international credit/Debit card issued from sri lanka and then he can settle the CC bill in Sri Lankan rupees. Any other suggestion ? . Any other way to sent money to Qatar bank from sri Lanka ? What can qatar bank do to help my friend repay the Loan.
Any accurate response is appreciated from any QL members who are involved in banking in qatar.

Send the money to his bank account here in Qatar tru Western UNion. Once its credited, the bank will now apply it as payment to his loan balance.
450000 x 30 = Rs. 13,500,000 not a bad deal :)
Though the rules are strict, they will have flexible options of paying back. You need to speak to them and tell them about the problem you have. Im sure they will have ways to fix it.
