It really depends when you want to fly, and for how long you intend staying in London. Any indirect carrier will be cheaper than a direct one. KLM and Turkish have some good deals, dont go online for it as special fares are not displayed online, check with your agent.

Ooops - I stand corrected!!! And yeah, there is a penalty to be paid flying with BA as mentioned above.

whatever you do pls dont fly economy with BA. worst service both on air and off. and layover in bahrain is invariably unpleasant.

i recommend the local airlines, emirates, etihad or qa.

Emirates is the cheapest, because they usually do a stop over.

Its not that simple - depends when you are going, where you want to go (Gatwick, Heathrow, Manchester, Scotland, do you want to transit through somewhere - right now for a direct flight with a stable price you will find it hard to beat BA direct to heathrow on the overnight - daily from Doha - only drawback is an hour or so on the tarmac at Bahrain - if you can stomach that and dont want the hassle of a short stop over at dubai which is also a cheap alternative then BA is for you. Forget Qatar Airways direct - to the UK, they have just become SO uncompetitive
