Please spare a thought and prayer for the residents of Christchurch following today's earthquake.

Police said fatalities had been reported at several locations and that two buses had been crushed by falling buildings.

Very very sad to hear... These natural disasters are just something else. You never know what can happen when..Audubillah!Brings back memories of when the tsunami hit SL...nothing we ever expected or cared to know about until it struck.

QK hope for the safety of all your loved ones and all those who survived. Guess rescue operations must be already on. will keep checking the news,Inshallah...

You know that New Zealand sits on the "Ring of Fire." It is expected to experience earthquakes all the time. It's your fault if you decide to dwell there. Some people never stop taking risks.

Thanks Brit, Christchurch is my home and a lot of people have lost their lives. 17 confirmed so far but the mass destruction of the city has been pretty devastating. A lot of people still trapped under rubble and power and water out throughout the town too.

Thanks for everyone's concern.

A bigger disaster is the cancellation of the first F 1 race in Bahrain. Please, bear with me, too.
