washer/dryer combo

By what do u want

I arrived from the U.S about a month ago. I have been shopping for a washer and a dryer. Each store tries to convince me with a washer/dryer combo.. I am not so sure about this!
does it really work? does it wash and dry well?
do you advise me to get one? or should I stick with the washer and dryer seperately??

It washes...yes

It dries your clothes...NOPE. You would still need to hang them dry. If you don't prefer hanging clothes to dry, you need a separate DRYER. You could see some choices in Carrefour or Jumbo Electronics.

don't buy the combo. they are all over the place in the UK and they are terrible. ok for washing but bad at drying. by a dryer or get a folding rack.

If you are from the US, then you will never be happy with those 2-in one system, they just do not get you the fully dry fluffy cloths that you used to. What I have is the typical separate Frigidaire washer and dryer that I used to have in the US, but they are stacked on top of each other for better space use, and less electric connections. You can find them in Carrfoure for about QR4000

My experience says a combination also works fine. All of my friends use washer/dryer combo for their laundry needs.

Buy it separately.

In Qatar, maximum ppl dont buy separate dryers as the sunlight here dries clothes in no time :)

Plus you can't wash your next set of clothes until dries off the previous one.
