Honoring and respecting the elders is an Islamic virtue. Or is it? Or is Qatar an un-Islamic state?

the rule is until 60 yrs old only. BUT if you have a great convincing power and charm, u can pursuade the immigration officer to process your parents visa. Keep your fingers crossed :-). Go to Garaffa immigration

Dear,

IT IS POSSIBLE if they are not suffering from any serious ailment which could possibly lead them to be hospitalized here in Qatar. So my friend go ahead.

I brought my parents who are more than 63 and also extended their visa to three months after the health check up and we went for umrah to saudi.

Best luck
