Hello! my boss want to cancel my visa and said to bring me back to Philippines. I am a local hired and now 7 months to his company, i have working visa and pataka but still no contract signed. My Question is, is he going to give me a airplane ticket? or instead of sending me home, he will give me NOC?

Article 38

The Service Contract shall be made in writing and attested by the Department and

shall comprise three copies, one copy to be delivered to each of the parties and the

third copy to be deposited with the Department.

The Service Contract shall specify the terms concerning the labour relationship

between its two parties and in particular shall contain the following:

1. The name of the employer and place of his work.

2. The name, qualifications, nationality, profession and residence of the worker

and the proof necessary for his identification.

3. The date of conclusion of the contract.

4. The nature and type of the work and place of contracting.

5. The date of commencement of the work.

6. The period of the contract if the contract is of a definite duration.

7. The agreed wage and the method and date of the payment thereof.

If the service contract is not made in writing the worker may prove the labour

relationship and the rights which have arisen therefrom by all means of proof.

This is the Labor Law. Working without contract is illegal. But as I said before, the law is not worth the paper it is written on!

1. If an Employer cancels a Visa they will give a Ticket for FREE.

2. Local hired 50% change to get an NOC.

3. Pataka w/o signing any Contract is against the Law. You can complain "Forgery" of your signature at the Qatar Labour Office.

4. If you win the case, you will get (100%) NOC.

if ur boss is not happy with ur performance or he is just one of those who are difficult to understand, then he definitely won't give u NOC, if he wants to get rid of you that quick, then he should purchase ur ticket. i still believe it is better to suffer in ur own country than to be treated like shit in a foreign country. if he won't buy u a ticket, then that means he don't want to get rid of u. always stick to ur guns, let him pay for ur ticket, he's the one who's dodgy, not u.
