i got an offer
i got an offer to work in qatar airways Grade 1. with a salary of QR1400 + QR300 trasportation allowance,i need to provide my food as well,and they gave me also QR420 ERP(exchanges rates protection)will able to survive with this kind of salary?my fellow kabayan pls help me?
A lot depends on ur lifestyle. Live simple and u will make ends meet.
surviving in qatar depends on your lifestyle... if you ask me, yes i can survive with that salary... as long as accomodation is free... the accommodation being provided by qatar airways is one of the best accommodations here in doha... as you said you only work 5 days a week... if you work with kharwa the offer would have been much lower than that...
i assume you will also get other benefits like free ticket from qatar airways every time you fly back to manila during vacation... in some companies here in doha, air ticket is not provided by the employer if you go on vacation... as starter it's not really bad... at least you have a job... a lot of ofws have lost their jobs in libya... the competition now is really high.. i suggest you grab the opportunity ...
If this is your first job, then grab it.
In return you can gain good tracking experience from this company.
Just try to work hard, stay away from trouble, and avoid gossip.
You'll have a brighter future ahead for sure...

I doubt anyone can survive on this salary.
how about your accommodation? kun me overtime, as per the position they offered, i believe its the best basic for a probationary period. Try to ask for a job offer letter and see how they stated the benefits. Probably every 6 months you will receive increase cause there are lot of companies here giving low salary within the probationary month but giving raise every 6 months.
Do you mean 1400 or 14000?! I don't think you can survive on the former.
