Owwa Membership
hi! i will be going for a vacation to the Philippines. It's my first time and they said i need to be an OWWA member and get OEC.
But then one of the requirements to be OWWA member is company contract. I am a free lancer visa so i don't have contract from my recent job only offer letter. With my sponsor also he did not give me any contract.
Can anyone tell me,what i need to do? That's my problem right now and POLO office is not answering call with their landline.

It will be a big problem. Secure contract from your sponsor. It will be more difficult if you get there in the Phils. and you cannot show a contract. It's the new requirements of Phils. government. I advise you to get your OEC here in Doha.
d na hinahanap ang contract sa poea sa pinas, dun ka na lang kumuha. last year nagbakasyon ako dun ako kumuha d naman hinanap. passport lang saka valid visa na talagang ofw ka. meron din silang number dun tawagan mo na lang tapos idedeliver na lang nila oec ang payment eh thru bank.
kabayan, na published recently sa Qatar Tribune ang crackdown ng government re: free lance employee and bogus employers... since you posted this here, sigurado ako, mas lalo silang mag hihigpit ngaun pag may nagsumbong sa kanila sa post mo. anyway, talk to owwa muna. nung una ako kumuha ng oec, hindi naman ako hinanapan ng contract e. good luck.
Go to Thailand from Qatar. Enter the Philippines as a tourist and leave the same way!
OEC means overseas employment certificate... if you decide to get it from POEA, still POEA will be requiring you to submit a copy of your contract.. either way you can't escape from submitting a copy of your contract whether it's done here in doha or in manila...
