Hello,

I would like to know the average cost of living in Qatar for a single woman, including room rental, transport, food any other expensises, such as apartment expenses (electricity, gas, or do they usually come included in the total price?), gym, going out sometimes, etc.

Thank you!

What would be the rent for a 2 bedroom appartment with drawing/dining room in a residential area in Doha? This is for an Indian family.

I would like to know the average cost of living in Qatar for a family of three, including studio rental, transport, food and any other expenses, such as internet, call cards, electricity, dining outside etc.

I have an offer but we are still in the negotiation stage. I am presently residing here in Abu Dhabi.

say...your gross monthly salary is 4k qr. you can find bedspace between 400-600 qr/month(additionals: 50qr for the internet and approximately another 40 riyals for the electricity and water).for the food( reserve at least 600 qr). be careful with your fonecalls back home,as well as taking the taxis,otherwise...they will cut "big" with your budget. i specially suggest that you rather take the bus as often as possible... welcome to qatar. its a relatively clean, peaceful and orderly place to live at(these things i assure you).

Nothing is fixed but its on your hand how and where you spend. And your status from job will impact on living.

No not based on nationality! Actually what i meant was it all depends on your life style & what type of package & profession ur looking for.I hope the average that I listed above should help you in some way...

I am looking for a job, but I wanted to know the average expenses to compare to the salary. I am from argentina, does cost or salaries depend on nationality???

Depends on your pay & social life here..

Apartment Current rate :

Studio of high caliber in prominent areas around QAR 9000/-

Other- starts from at least QAR 3000/-

Transport- you can own a car for like starting QAR-30,000 with monthly instalment base, again it depends on what u want to drive

Gas -is cheap here

Electricity bills are not too much-Depends on usage

Gym- minimum annual fee u can get for QAR 5000/-

Again ...It all depends on your personality & where u come from...same as the first comment on this thread.

Good luck!!
