Manchester City reached the FA Cup Final for the first time in 30 years with victory over derby rivals Manchester United at Wembley.

The El Clasico finished with a 1-1 draw.

The Gunners v Liverpool today!

Watching Barca play against Espanyol at the moment, they just look so awesome. I don't see United winning unless Messi, Xavi & Iniesta all get injured before the final.

Dont fink that Fergies has any intention of retiring yet. I will be supporting Man U against Barca.

Lets hope they do the double!

If only United had played like that against Arsenal ...

Just one more point ............... Then Fergie can retire happy..

Man U got the Blues in their own back yard. Well done to Man U for the historical win one hand on the trophy already!

Congrats to britexpat & Baldrick2dogs! Balders you owe us a few downs downs!

Not a single place in the EPL decided? If Chelsea pulls this off it will one of the greatest comeback of EPL history.

The place for the fourth spot is also interesting, but I guess Man City are still the favorite to clinch that ahead of Spurs and Liverpool!

britexpat it would be nice to see Chelsea win, it will make the last two games of the season that much more interesting! Lets all hope that Man U get the blues today!

By britexpat• 8 May 2011 07:16

I can't look...

I'm afraid that Chelski might actually pull it off :o(

Another fantastic weekend of football, every game is like a knock out game.

Spurs failed to capitalise fully on Man City's loss to Evrton and share the spoils with Blackpool who move out of the relegation zone.

Will todays match between Chelsea and Man U be the decider for the title race. Will Torres finally produce the goods. Let wait and see for another block buster Super Sunday of Football!!

Arsenal down Man U.. Man U are they loosing the steam in the last lap.

The title race is all open again?

Well done to Liverpool who climb up to 5th. But there was not sign of any let up by Man City who firmly control the 4th position.

By Mr M.• 1 May 2011 17:29

I hope Arsenal win today INSHA ALLAH.They are one up at the moment. The title will not be decided next week if they win today. But Chelsea are breathing down heavily on their backs.

Spurs have had a good season, but let alone the goals yesterday Chelski dominated the play and deserved the win irrespective of the way it came.

I just hope the Gooners win today to make the last few games really interesting.. WTF was Sir Alex doing at Stamford Bridge yesterday?

Bad weekend so far :o(

Chelski won controvercially.

Wigan drew and should have won.

Blackpool drew and should have lost.

Worst of all , Blackburn won ....

IS THERE NO JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD ?

First goal didn't cross the line, second an offside.. Spurs deserved better for their performance yesterday..

By Milky_BarKid• 1 May 2011 08:15

Chelsea .. Have the decision going the right way for them. If Arsenal beat Man U today. It will be a close finish with Chelsea and Man U next week.

Will Man U hold there nerves and cross the finishing line ahead of Chelsea or will they fall.

By Mr M.• 29 Apr 2011 07:35

'The special one' will not give this up without a tough fight that's for sure.It was a thrilling match at the Bernabeau but it will be even more exciting at the Camp Nou.

It will be Real vs Man Utd in the final INSHA ALLAH.

Going off the stats, they were twice the team Schalke was:

67% - 33% possession

19 shots to 7 (or some such)

6 Corners to 3

Expect 8-0 at O.T.

By Milky_BarKid• 27 Apr 2011 11:43

Finally Man U produced a performance worthy of praise in the Champions League. I think they are half way to the Final at Wembley!

By Mr M.• 25 Apr 2011 18:57

Chelsea have some work to do,but it's not difficult.Man Utd are breathing easy at the moment.

City wins tonight and it will be difficult for Spurs to catch them for fourth place.

By anonymous• 23 Apr 2011 23:39

I also think Kenny deserves a Champions League spot with his side.

So, what names now come to mind ?

An intereting aside...

Roma have become the first major Italian team to be bought by foreigner. A group, led by U.S businessman Thomas DiBenedetto have agreed to buy a 67% controlling share of the club for 70.3m euros (£62m).

Now what surprised me is not that the club has been bought, but the amount paid....

Seems paltry compared to the sums being paid in the EPL..
