Landrover LR4 on the dunes

Has anyone tried the Landrover LR4 or LR3 on the dunes? Any good?

I just bought mine but not sure if I should take it on the dunes until it is properly run in for at least 1500km.

Any advice is welcome.

my girlfriend has got a LR2 and took it duning at sealine whne the car was only about 1000-1500kms ols. chuck it into sand mode and deflate ur tyres to about 21-22 psi .. and ur ready to go!! u can reflate ur tyres outside the main gate at sealine resort on the far left - opposite end to the ambulance branch ... happy duning

remember to always go in a group of at least 3 cars incase anyone gets bogged or into car trouble.

hi..i own a range rover sport and i didnt take it on dues for first 2000 km....LR4 is much better on dunes then range rover because of its tyres....be sure to set up the car on flat ground before entering the dune....i would suggest read the manual for tyre pressure and car setup for sand...
