actually i'm not afraid because Company A is a friend of mine and we help them more for some projects and on this way he will help us back also as payment for the good deeds, one thing we need to ensure only if he can make a transfer to company B without any problem since he has a work also in the philippines which he need to resign, so maybe it will be lost and when he come here it's nothing.

regarding the payment, he will pay only for the working visa processing which is 300QR only and some needed documents required to pay like medical at his own cost and some immigration stamp and for the application of an RP I.D. which is 1200QAR that's all.

One thing I need to know if we can transfer anytime or not. that's all

So, how much is your friend paying Company A to give him a visa on the off chance that he will get employed in some yet-unknown Company B? I'm sure the amount must be substantial. This has all the makings of a scam as well as future trouble for your friend.

Yes, It is illegal. Sadly, It happens all too often. People pay to come here hoping for a job and then get into all sorts of issues when they can't.

In addition, the company/person issuing the Visa can hold them to ransom..

Not advisable !

So Company A is doing something illegal, that is giving him a working visa with no job.

Good day Maxmo,

Thank you very much for your concern.

I wrote my concern again to make it very specific. My friend is still in the Philippines and before he will come in Doha Qatar we need to know if there's no problem in transfering to new sponsor. Because his case is just arrange for a good and kind way, just a help and provide him visa from Company A, but Company A will not give work only working visa, Company A is will to give all the needed documents once he can find job.

Our concern is we don't know if he can change and transfer to Company B anytime or need to wait 1 year for the transfer. Please advise again. Thank you very much for your time and concern. God bless!

Good day Fullthrotle,

Thank you very much for your concern and quick reply. but the situation is like these:

1. He is still in the Philippines right now.

2. One company here in Doha let name it Company A is willing to give him visa.

3. Once he will arrived in Doha, he need to find job and transfer to Company B instead to Company A, because company A will give only working visa but no work.

4. Once he can find a work to Company B, we need to know if he can transfer and change sponsorship and apply for a RP I.D. to company B.

5. Company A is will to provide all the documents needed but the concern is, if Qatar Immigration will allow him to transfer to new sponsorship ANY TIME or NEED TO WAIT FOR 1 YEAR?

Please advise again. Thank you for your time and concern to us and my friend.

As I remember, the employee cannot change the sponsorship for minimum period of 24 months. Under special provision, the employer can give a temporary release which is valid for 6 months after completing first 12 months of minimum contract period.

That means, your friend will have to work for current employer (company A) for at least 12 months and upon the approval of Company A, get the temporary release letter valid for 6 months that will allow him to work for Company B. After completing six months, he will have to request for another similar letter which is again valid for 6 months. After completing 24 months, if Company A gives NOC, he can change his sponsorship to Company B.

Kindly check with MOI or someone from Immegration to confirm the information given above. This is just what I have understood and may not be fully true.

go home and back again with company b visa-the easiest way if u havent have your medical and transfer to residence.untless otherwise you will be cancelled for 2 years..unless they will give NOC. and yes once you having an rp you need to wait another year before they allow you to transfer it.
