I think if we have NOC we can change the sponsor. there will be no issue I guess.
BUT, i cant digest this adding a new think like "giving NOC" in the contract.
This time when we send the contracts for renewal of RP, they have checked line by line each point. and they have marked these things should be corrected as the standards. They didn’t let us add anything new like year end leave 1.5 months instead of 21 days.
So then how come they agree for NOC issue???
I dont think this is under normal situation.
May be a super power working on it. Even it is there I dont think that they can fight for this. OR, may be the company these ppl are referring is to a company where they normally have a big labor turnover.
As u say if the company giving for High profile people or westerners even from there the company will get Visa in there list...??
Everyone here "crying" was stupid enough to sign a contract without asking for a letter which states that NOC is given at the end of the contract as long as there are no criminal charges pending. The letter I got was a formal letter. I asked for it on the advise of my sponsor. It was given without hesitation. (Cambridge School in 2001). If they would not have given me that letter, I would have not signed the contract. Full Stop!
tinker, nobody tells them this. When I was asked to change the sponsor for the school job, my current sponsor told me, make sure they give you this letter. And they did.
I had a contract with a school. I signed it only after I got a written statement that NOC is given at the termination of the contract. There is no fuzz about it!
One of my colleagues managed to get NOC from the management by emotionally blackmailing the regional manager. He declared that if NOC was not given, he would hang himself to death leaving a note with the police.

Let's suppose I am about to finish my contract by COB today and then, my employer finds out that I have been stealing money from them.
Do I deserve or should I be given an NOC simply because it's stated in a contract? :)
Ok tinkerbell. Thanx.
I think when it comes to rules issues ppl should be very careful to put them in a public forum.
If some one go and argue based on this he may get problem in his job too...

Tinkerbell & NM i am totally confused.....!
Having NOC is not a sure guarantee that you will be able to change your sponsir ;)

Well, apparently it can be done....but certainly is not a rule. As far as I know.
Tinker, I am fairly sure to have this clause added or not is at the discretion of the employer/sponsor.
I think ONLY we two are the fools here worrying abt the NOC.
Acording to them, it is easy to get the NOC than the Karwa bus card. Cos there also we need to fill a form...LOL
May be for the service oriented jobs you can request for such letter. Companies which invest a lot in training employees will never agree to it.
You must get it BEFORE you sign the contract!

Of course you can add an agreement in the contract. And if the sponsor refuses it, you better not sign the contract at all!!
There is no such statement as sponsor will give NOC in or on any condition.
If he willing to give he will give else no.
And, it is surely depends on the relation that you have developed with him.
If u feel that you may need NOC, you must start working on it from that point. You should become a person that ur sponsor will give NOC to you.
NOC is not something forcing/fighting and getting. You cant demand on it. It is something giving with the willingness.
So, be good on your work and try to win your sponsors and bosses heart and get it.
a contract is a contract. it's a legal agreement that must be honored. just ask any lawyer, or the work ministry.
include a clause in ur contract that states that a NOC is to be given when the contract ends.

yes, the same with my friend.. he is locally hired from the company but his employer doesnt issue any noc in his future oppurtunity... gudluck!
