0 mileage Pajero fm Car reseller
By Sunilsadanandan •
Dear Friends...
I hope many QL'ers wud be owning such cars.. just wanted to check and get feed back.. is it fine to buy a 0 mileage 2010 car from a reseller.. does Mitsubishi Service center provides service or now..
I have been told by the re seller that there is a warranty for 3 yrs from *** company.
Its a Good deal.. but just worried about after sales service.. Its basically Dubai registered Pajero.. but then bring it here and get registered in Qatar and sell it..
Any one who owns or is known about this kindly advice..
New to Qatar..
Thanks in Advance..
Sunil
Mike.. great to know that u have 2 Kia.. but u know my job is transferable any time any were.. and really dont want to take the car along with me.. 7 months i came from bahrain.. and had to sell off my new CRV.. so if its a car which has resale value then i wont lose much.. thats the whole point..
If its a good car.. then CRV or Parado also i am hunting..
If nothing works out then for sure i will go with this option.. from reseller.. actually its a superb deal..110 K with extra features.. lets see what i am gone end up with..
Once again thnx for the advice..
Ok then good luck with your hunt. Remember that scam is always around the corner so if you devote more time in looking for a good 2nd hand car you may probably find what you need.
If all you want is a Mitsubishi, go ahead if you are open to any other options, brands like Kia are probably offering the best warranty in the market. Their resale value may not be as good as most japanese brands but the quality is comparable (I'm a proud owner of two KIAs and no complains thus far).
Mike thanks a lot for ur time and advice.. i am looking the second option also.. thats main reason of me being here in QL.. checking for cars..
Sunil, then it seems you will not have full warranty but just maintenance services. I am pretty sure the service will not cover any change in spare parts. See the pros and cons in that, if you are concerned about full warranty then you should go directly with Mitsubishi.
If the service is being provided by a third party, you should also keep in mind if these folks are qualified. Maybe you can explore another option, like checking if there's any leaving expat(s) selling a Mitsubishi still under warranty.
Mike.. i tried to check with the sources.. as of now company is telling me they will provide the service.. but it will be paid..
But then these resellers are selling lots of car.. so i thought if some has bought one of these cars and they r the real one who has experienced in reality..
thats why thought of putting up here.. i felt this is the best platform to check..
thanks..
Sunil
AXA is an insurance company... do they own car dealers too? upsssss!!!
My friend, why don't you just go and check directly from the source. Any non-official comment would be a waste of time so please don't rely on this source.
Any one there for comments.. any idea.. any advice...
Thanks.. a lot.. well yeah they told me there is 3 yr warranty from AXA.. which is almost the same with the company new car also..
I think you do not get free service here at all, and the warranty is not respected by the local company. You can however buy such service contract. Visit the service center and ask.
