Website promotes affairs..

I suppose its pandering to a market - But should it be allowed to advertise openly ?

An advertising campaign inviting married women to sign on to a website that will allow them to find men they can have affairs with has provoked an angry reaction in the Spanish capital Madrid.

The posters from the xxxxxxxx.es company on street advertising boards in Madrid invite women to "Relive your passion. Have an affair!" They are accompanied by a photograph of a smiling woman with her arms around an illicit lover.

"You should be ashamed of promoting infidelity," one angry contributor, Diego Gascón, wrote on the Spanish website's Facebook page.

"This site makes me sick. What kind of morality are you trying to promote?" wrote another

But the website is obviously looking for a different kind of clientele.

"You only live once as they say, and we want to help you live it to the fullest by establishing this exciting friendly meeting place to privately spice up your everyday life," it promises. The company claims to have created the first dating website in Europe to target people who are married or already in a relationship.

"We offer an atmosphere in which you can have fun, flirt, get to know someone and have an affair either close to home or far away," claims the website, which gives its address as a PO Box in Oslo, Norway.

The site also included testimonies that it claims come from happy clients. "I've already found several men to flirt and have fun with!" declares "Isabel, steady relationship, aged 31."

"I quickly found a sweet and passionate lover," adds a 43-year-old married woman.

Cabbage, a devout catholic went to the confessional and said: "Forgive me father, but I nearly had an affair"

The priest said, "What do you mean, nearly?"

Cabbage said, "Well, we got naked, rubbed together, but then I stopped."

The priest said, "Rubbing together is the same as putting it in. For your penance, say five Hail Marys and put 20 quid in the poor box"

Cabbage said her prayers , then walked over to the poor box. She paused and then started to walk away.

The priest, who was watching, quickly ran over and said "I saw that you didn't put any money in the poor box!"

Cabbage said, "Yeah, but I rubbed the £20 on the box and, that's the same as putting it in!"

The site is for affairs - not just flirting :o)

This site is great. I don't think there is anything wrong with a harmless flirt as long as it understood between the two that it is 'harmless'.

I love male humour and company so yes that could be seen as me 'flirting'. I find men easier to get on with - they are less bitchy and have interesting angles on topics I would not have thought off. And when you get to 47 any attention is good lol (joking)

Taking it one step more which leads to a full blown affair is not good.

Where is the cut-off point? I can’t answer that one for anybody else; as all the men I ‘flirt’ with are mates and no full well –‘I am a one man woman’ :-)

Oh no I don't consider it bad luck, I had fun.

Normally people should take this as bad luck.

But it will not be bad luck if the inside of the person or his heart is full of hate and cheating others.

We must all remember who digs a hole for his partner will fall down in the hole before his partner.

The heart as said by a schoolar is like mirror the more this mirror gets dirty the less clear vision will be and it will not reflect the shining side.

Yes Straight Arrow the infidelity I experienced all around me in Qatar formed this opinion.

though I am no longer living in Doha and every time I got online I always visit this site because I enjoy reading threads of the users that have connected to each other. Sharing rumors, arguing, bashing, etc. Its fun indeed.

and personal opinion normally comes from what people experience and follow.

If fidelity is maintained then most of the world problems will end.

Oh what a logic.

So if I am not against this website then how doe that mean that I would like my relatives to visit it?

I don't value fidelity that doesn't mean others in our family don't either..

Don't give me these childish comments which were used in kindergarten.

Nah, I think it is the other way around for their target audience. Yes they need to have Women as available but it will be men in drives who will sign up with satisfied (or wanting to be satisfied) women saying they are available.

Are there any men in QL to flirt and have fun with???

The site also included testimonies that it claims come from happy clients. "I've already found several men to flirt and have fun with!" declares Isabel.

"I quickly found a sweet and passionate lover," adds a 43-year-old married woman.

IT COULD BE QL :o)

About to sign-up now. For my pseudonym I will be using either Britexpat or Hugh G. Rection. But then I don't want to appear too keen, so I will probably just go for the understated latter :-)

brit, it's not really different from "Personal" ads, which have been around for years.

"Married and looking" etc

I agree with LP (did I really just say that??) no one is forcing anyone.
