We are Pakistani Nationals. My wife use to live here for more than 20 years while on her father's sponsorship. in 2009 we had to travel back to PAK and then to London for my wife's higher education. Previous Employer cancelled visa and we went back home town. Recently an year before I got another offer from the same Employer and got a job here again. I applied for my wife's residence permit, but labour dept rejected it in first attemp with NO REASON. I have more than required basic salary and all relevant papers. Can any one help me, I am ready to pay a good amount for this service

@ WC....Dear Brother, thank you for your input, I appreciate it! See, my Basic pay is more than required. But the housing is on my account. Some one told me that you can say in front of that Officer who questions you in LAJNA, that my housing is from Company. But even if I say this to officer, he can then read my arabic contract which clearly says housing allowance is provided, that means housing is on me, not from company. So what do you suggest?

Some people are saying that Pakistani Visas are closed now a days. Some are saying that LAJNA from Labour Dept has not been transfered to Jawazat, some says if you have WASTAA you may get it.... I dont know how to do and what to do??? PLEASE HELP ME.......

Me Also went 3 times to them for meeting and each time they ask me the same Question that home is or your contract or it’s given by the Govt. and i replied it’s private contract and they ordered me to check after 2 Days But "Rejected".

At last a week before I ask one of the employee working there about the reason and the requirements and he said...7500 Pay and Free Accommodation and then u will get on 2nd or 3rd Meeting...(20% chances in first meeting)

GOODLUCK

I had a meeting with Labour Dept's LAJNA in March this year, but they asked me few questions, such as what is your salary, is your house on your account or its by company (I said its on my account) and said 'check in computer after two days' but still the status is same "APPLICATION REJECTED". They dont tell me the reaso, nor they are ready to talk. My Profession on ID is IDARI ISTISHARI which means in English HR Advisor or HR Consultant. My salary is more than 10K a month.

Why don't you first try contacting labour dept to find out the "actual reason for denying" the RP.

Regards!!
