I hold a valid UAE driving license and on a Visit visa, can I rent a car and for how long?

Hello All - I am an Indian national, and hold driving licenses from 3 countries (valid UAE - 10 year license, valid India license, and expired United States license). Am i able to rent a car and for how long, while my visit visa gets converted to work visa? Please advise. I do not have an International driving permit

get your eye test free from marror and pay 250 QR for your Qatar licence and no need of class and test , and get your DR for Qatar, thats it then you can drive as long as you r in Qatar, buy your car and sell it while you go back to your country it will be cheaper then having a rental car here in doha.
