How do you take your car from Europe??

Hi all
I would like to import my car into qatar from europe but need serious advice on what the procedures are for this.
In fact, Im planning to sell my old car and buy a good second hand one here before I fly out.
What are the steps for a smooth and "painless" import to Doha?

wonder why you are so keen to import car from europe, as all models are available in pretty reasonable price either Japanese,american or french. plus costum would cost you that much u can buy car over here without any hurdles. in other case if u gonna import swedish make koenigsegg then no comments ;b, i dont see any of them around

Car are much cheaper in Qatar...check the adds in QL to see your options.
Hi, as far as I know you cannot import cars that are older than 3 years. Furthermore in general cars here are a lot cheaper (depending where you are from in europe) so you'll find it a better solution to buy one here.
