Criterion for becoming a MODerator?
Just wondering what is the criterion for been chosen as a moderator at Qatar Living.
No offense meant but, i see commentators asking Questions and comin up with queries for moderators and moderators or posing as moderators shun them with lame responses.
Meaning to say is there a standard procedure or they are just chosen at random?
because she (Mod) was not in her sense.
So why the Moderator addressed you Basheerbasheer?
frenchi, i've met Gérard on a few trips.Jolly fellow, down to earth.Love his english by Ze way.yep he is very neutral.
Gerard is the iconic French male, so he fits my QL name best. I tried Sarkozy's pick for a while, but he's too political and I'm not a fan of his politics. Gerard's fairly neutral and still recognizable. Although I am surprised more people don't recognize him--I even had a few PMs warning me not to post my own photo.
Don't blame you for not wanting to be a mod. It's a thankless job, but I am glad some are willing to do it.

ghazalz this being my first time to ever be here.How could ever be i banned and why would they wanna ban me?
Banned users showing up spewing obscenities, bashings on a regular basis, posting irrelevant posts in sections, hijackers,scams etc, being a mod must sure be hard work! Glad I never aspired to be one.. seriously. No sour graping here!

The other day I asked, If Mods have other IDs and participate in routine forums and my thread was deleted.
In my opinion (read it carefully in just my opinion), the way to become Mod is-
1. You must be in MODs kitchen cabinet
2. Honesty, integrity are strictly not warranted but yes Trust is required.
3. You must be apparently unbiased whilst after graduating to Mod you can become one :)
Benefits – no tangible benefits but yes it gives you a false perception of authority. :)

Rizks, No didn't use the contact.I asked it here coz tried the contact a few times back but no response from anyone.
Now don't get me wrong here its just a query.
OK not being seen as someone looking to be a Moderator, which I am not ...are there any benefits associated being a Moderator on QL... I mean does it add up to your CV if you are applying for a job in real life...:)
Moderoator can you list all the approved Mods on this Site under the Freedom of Information Act?

Moderator "Bribes may help too" was that a joke or truth, If bribery is involved then how does Honesty,Integrity and Trust do any good?
