I have been cheated by company. what can I do?
I have joined a company in Mar'11. I have been taken by them for a 2 year contract. For coming here they gave me a business visa and asked me to get all documents i.e attested degree etc for obtaing the work permit visa for me. To my surprise they did not apply my visa till May and suddenly without informing me they have taken a mechanic visa on my name despite providing them with all the documents, also some of the salary aspects mentioned by them in the pre employment mails and correspondence they have deleted in the contract. I feel I have been cheated by the company. Due to this i'm mentally also becoming very disturbed as I cannot bring my family on mechanic visa. I have been recently married. Please all my friends suggest what can i do? how will i make this irresponsible employ pay for this act? I do not have a job in hand to ditch this company that is my problem. I am dependent on this job.

if the salary is same as they agreed far.it possible to change your profession in id mechanic to Engineer.

Well, if we see the reality, it is not cheating.
It happens very often in gulf countries.
Companies here have limited visas based on designations. For example: A company may have only 5 Engineer visas, which may already be in use (with 5 existing Engineers working in this company). So if the same company wants to hire another engineer, they might call him on a visa with some other designation.
In you case, what is your actual designation ? what is your salary (please specify it in full) ? So i can help you a bit further
