I have been in Doha for about 6 weeks now... my RP is still in progress with no end date ... my question is "is it possible for me to bring my family here on visit visa while my RP process happens" ... if yes, then what is the right way to apply for family's visit visa... kindly advise.

Unfortunately, Immigration are currently being very strict and are making it very difficult for all of us. Below is a list of the requirements for a family visa. What nationality are your family? There is an option that for the moment they come in on a visit visa or a family visit visa.

FAMILY VISA

Required attachments:

•NOC letter from spouses employer to allow the spouse to sponsor the wife/husband

•The NOC letter must show the occupation, salary and type of contract

•Passport photo copies of husband, wife and children x 3

•ID Copy and Resident Permit copy of Spouse[original ID will be needed at the end of the process]

•Bank statement of salary for six months, signed and sealed by the banks authority.[statement must show salary as a ‘salary transfer’]

•Marriage certificate attested and legalised and translated into Arabic.

•Children’s birth certificates attested and legalised and translated into Arabic.

•In case of adopting children, please attach the documents of adoption.[attested and legalised and translated into Arabic]

•Spouses Educational certificates, attested and legalised and translated into Arabic

•Copy of Electric Bill for Qatar residence.

•Qatar residential lease [stamped by the Municipality]

The rules change reguarly and it is difficult to keep up with the changes as they are not published anywhere. For example last Thursday it became a requiement that when applying for a family visa the household lease must be signed by the Municipality.
