Anyone looking to adopt a cat?

There is a cute and tame mother cat with her new kitten outside Ezdan, Tower 4. They are in need of someone to adopt them. They are both very skinny and could do with a good home and some food. If you are interested, please contact Ezdan, Tower 4 security guards. The animal shelter is full and cannot take them in. My building doesn't allow animals so I cannot take them.

cats just two cats can breed over a 7 year period. See the link.

Can you imagine Qatar if everyone had the same idea of no neutering - there would be cats everywhere. Neutering and spaying is a must for cats and I thank Qatar for being progressive in this matter and having a free sterilisation programme for dogs and cats.

For the muslims who seek (religious) guidance in such matter, perhaps you can take a look at:http://en.islamtoday.net/quesshow-153-947.htmor http://infad.usim.edu.my/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=6308 And Allah knows best....

It goes without saying. If everyone had the view of spaying and neutering, animal rescue groups all over Qatar wouldn't be filled to the brim of animals that have been abandoned or stray. D2lila... think on that little matter!!!

And if you still cannot see the need for neuter and spaying... then I tell you what... volunteer to have the QAWS mobile phone for just one week and have to turn people away because there are too many phone calls with too many animals and not enough room at the inn... and I can guarentee you, you will be calling for sterilization.

Its people like you that make the world a lot harder for those of us that sit with the brunt of your irresponsibility.

D2lila...have you loked around you over here? do you see how many cats and kittens die, are malnourished, sick and mistreated, even tortured ?Of course the moral view of neutering in connection with religion can be discussed. But, sadly, that does not in any way change the situation these poor animals are in.You will also not change the view on cats and animals in general of some people. Therefore the only thing that helps at the present point is to neuter those cats so there are less and the people that do care about animals can deal with the volume and take care of them.

Sterilising your animals is the responsible thing to do.

Please go through QL and read about how people happily have these wonderful creatures exterminated because there are too many. I have 2 very happy cats, both sterilised - Animals don't have the same urge for sex as humans. If they did, the females would be as regular as humans with their period, which they aren't only 1 time every few months. Animals do not see sex as a way to release themselves, but purely as a way to procreate. When that happens, humans are left with the decision of what to do with the offspring and that invaribly leads to disaster as alot of people do not know how to deal with these lovely creatures in a good way.

Do your research into the health benfits of having animals sterilised and also if it affects animals badly with anything like depression - then put that against the selfish need of humans who think its ok just to let animals breed indiscriminately for their own laziness - cause thats what it is, the excuse not to spay and neuter is pure laziness on the humans part - to much effort to take better care of the animal.

Yeap that also is a very good example. As GOD said circumcision is not required to acheive the seal of righteousness.19 Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God’s commands is what counts. 1 Corinthians 7:19

And "this" is the way that I would help the four legged population by being their voice when someone tries to go against their very purpose of creation.

At the lady who said something about me not caring for animals, sweetheart I said its "morally wrong", this is GOD's creation. GOD did give us authority over all animals on land and in sea, but He said "only if we have need for it shall we kill them" meaning for a non-vegetarain its okay if he kills an animal but only if he requires it for his meal. Its just like letting a person in comma who has no hope die thinking its better to let his soul rest in peace than live a terrible life. But who gave us the authority over judging what to do with him? No one. Similarly just because cats dont talk and bearly remember things when it comes to humans, doesnt mean that we take away their hapiness and purpose of why they were created in earth in the first place. You advised me to do a lil bit of research lol like research will translate what the cats will is. The only reason cats tend to become sick and die sooner is not because they are not spayed/neutered it is because they have been produced by their own sibblings over generations in most cases. Thats the sole reason for their earlier death in this context.I'm am a animal lover and have been living with cats my whole life. When I was born in my family we had upto 20 cats in the house. Growing up mom started to become a bit strict. The current cat I adopted is one thats neutered already by its previous owner, and since that day up until now, which is like 2 years I didnt see him with any other lady cat. And now hes a bit old. But the previous owners took away his hapiness just for their selfish reasons, which is they didnt want him to make the other lady cats pregnant because it would cost them alot for taking care of the new borns.

unwanted, uncared for, fearful, diseased, disposable small ones into the world?  Sorry, getting Mum spayed means her current kittens and she have a better chance at a longer and healthier life.  If the kittens can be neutered, they too will be healthier.  D2lia - do a little research- spayed and neutered animals are healthier and live longer (much like women and their children who have smaller families).  You may choose not to help in this regard for the 4 legged population, and that is OK, that is your choice and decision to make.  I choose to try and make the world around me a little easier for both 2 legged and 4 legged companions.  Spaying and neutering dogs and cats anywhere in the world is one way I choose to do so.

We really need to help our animal friends.  Let's start immediately

Why don't you take mum to get spayed at the Government vet? It's free and then she won't have any more kittens. There is a huge amount of cats/kittens in this situation sadly.

If everyone could take one cat to get spayed/neutered then next year we won't have this sad situation.
