Accident at Messaied-Wakra Road

I was amused with almost all drivers after passing the accident site between an oil tanker and a nissan tiida this afternoon between Messaied-Wakra road. The speed limit is 120kph but everybody was only running at 80 to 100 kph after passing the accident site. And all vehicles were in their right lanes. Well, does it take an accident site to make Qatar drivers diciplined on the road. I hope the traffic dept will place accident dramas everyday on the road just to fool reckless drivers around. No matter how invincible they think they are even with those cameras, it shows they are still capable to fear accidents. hahaha.

Accidents happen all over the world. We see them. They affect us for a short period and then we go back to our old ways. Such is human nature :0(

No need for cameras. Traffic dept should show pics of death waiting for a speeding land cruiser at the end of the road with a pic of their wife and children crying over a dead body. Scatter it all over those dangerous roads. I will bet my salary this month. It will slow them down... "The more horifying the pic, the better.

If you know that others don't think of safety you can adjust your driving to that. It's better to think than to pray.

We cannot avoid accident anyway, as others not thinking safefty and not valuing their lives I think.

We just have to pray for our safety each time we go out of the road and free from any harm.

Errmm, was not talking about the Cruisers, actually. As reckless as they are, they can actually drive...the others...oh dear god...they would be better off walking...somewhere with no cars around.

nomerci, you are right. with those flashing police lights, fire trucks, a medical chopper, an overturned oil tanker and a totally wrecked nissan tiida will keep their minds occupied while driving. Im passing Messaied-Wakra road almost everyday and I hate those speeding vehicles swishing around like snakes. No matter how frequent those speed cameras flash, it doesn't equal when accidental death flashes. It only reminds them they are still humans and not cats with 9 lives. Those land cruisers are no match with death. Drive safely. ;-)

tcom, was about to say the same...they have no fear, they are gawking..it does not enter their hmm, let's be polite here, heads ,that it could be them. The braincell is occupied with looking at the accident. And they are, again, holding up traffic.
